Donald J. Boudreaux

Donald J. Boudreaux is currently the Chairman of the Department of Economics at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

He has lectured in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe on a variety of topics including the nature of law, antitrust law and economics, and international trade. He has published articles in many major newspapers and journals on these same topics and he also co-authors a blog with Russell Roberts, another George Mason economist, called Café Hayek.

Previously, Professor Boudreaux was President of the Foundation for Economic Education (1997-2001); Associate Professor of Legal Studies and Economics at Clemson University (1992-1997); and Assistant Professor of Economics at George Mason University (1985-1989).

Mr. Boudreaux received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1992 and a PhD in economics from Auburn University in 1986.
